Notes
This cocktail has distinct layers of color: the grenadine at the bottom looks like an evening glow, the orange juice in the middle is bright, and the blue curaçao on top is like the sea, together evoking a sunset by the sea. It tastes sweet, tart and refreshing, with a note of rum. Orange and lemon juice contain a little vitamin C, and the alcohol helps you relax. The steps aren't complicated, but pouring down the bar spoon to create layers takes some patience; beginners can still succeed by following along, and prep plus mixing takes about a quarter of an hour.
